Meet the owner and founder

Kimberly Bernock, LMSW, C-DBT, CCTP.

I am a committed mental health professional dedicated to aiding individuals on their journey toward healing and personal development. With six years of experience in social work—spanning nonprofits, a prison, hospital, and private practice—I have gained extensive expertise in working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. My approach is grounded in empathy and understanding, focusing on personalized care that caters to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

I believe in every individual's capacity for change and resilience, and my role is to support that process. Utilizing evidence-based practices and fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship, I aim to empower clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe and nurturing environment. Together, we will strive to achieve your goals and improve your overall well-being.

The root of it all

In loving memory of Betty LaRosa.

My therapeutic practice is named in honor of my grandmother, a remarkable woman whose resilience, empathy, and love profoundly shaped my life and career. Growing up during the Great Depression, she understood the challenges of adversity and the strength required to overcome them. Her ability to connect with others, providing warmth and understanding even in the toughest times, serves as a guiding principle in my approach to therapy.

I strive to embody the qualities she exhibited—compassion, patience, and unwavering support—in my work with clients. As we navigate the complexities of life together, I draw upon her legacy, creating a safe space for healing and growth. Guided by her example, I am committed to helping others find their strength and resilience in the face of their own challenges, just as she did for so many. Through this practice, I hope to honor her memory by fostering connection and understanding in every therapeutic relationship.
